The family of the late Joseph (Joe) Doris R.I.P. wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported them during their recent bereavement. Son of the late John and Roseanne, brother of Mickey, Hughie and the late Francie, Barney, John, Eileen (Quinn) and niece Mary Quinn (Cookstown), and cherished brother-in-law of Eileen (Barney RIP), Kathleen (Hughie) and the late Gerry Quinn.
Joe was deeply loved and will be forever missed by his sorrowing brothers, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the wider family circle.
We offer our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us, who called to the wake, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and made phone calls. Your kindness and support were a great comfort.
A special word of thanks to Fr McGuigan and Fr Tremer for their spiritual guidance, and to Fr McGuigan for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass in memory of Joe. Thank you to the Church sacristan, and to Margaret-Ann Conlon and Patrick Slevin for the beautiful music which greatly enhanced the Mass.
Our appreciation is extended to the Doctors and staff of Coagh Medical Centre, and to the staff of Coagh Pharmacy. A special thank you to Pauline and the Coagh Medical Centre Nurses for their outstanding care and support throughout the years, which is deeply appreciated.
We also wish to express our sincere thanks to the staff of Antrim Area Hospital for the care, compassion and dignity shown to Joe during his short time with them. Their kindness and professionalism brought great comfort to Joe.
We also wish to thank Conan and Pat of Lavery’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and for the considerate and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 14 October 2026 at 7.30pm in The Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Ardboe.
