The wife, son, daughter and family of the late Joseph (Joe) Whiteside wish to thank all of those who sympathised with them in their loss of a wonderful husband, father, son-in-law and brother.

A special word of thanks to Rev. Andrew Downey and Rev. Ian McDonald for their pastoral support and for conducting the funeral service in such a courteous, caring manner.

Thanks also to Rev. Mark Spratt who assisted Joe’s son David at the organ at the beginning and end of the service, Mr. Alan Clyde for operating the audio visual system, and Mrs. Myrtle Johnston and the Drumgooland Presbyterian catering team for their kindness and professionalism in providing hospitality after the service.

Thanks to all at Ballyward Surgery, Craigavon Area Hospital, the Belfast City Hospital and the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre for their care and attention to Joe during his illness.

Douglas Funeral Directors carried out the funeral arrangements, and the family wish to put on record their appreciation for the care and meticulous attention to detail shown, with a special mention to John Wallace for all his kindness and support.
