Joseph (Joey) Ewart
A letter of acknowledgement and appreciation from the family of the late Joseph (Joey) Ewart of Neillsbrook, Randalstown.
The family of the late Jospeh Ewart R.I.P. wish to express our sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us in our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to our relatives and friends who called at the wake, and for the support of those who helped with the catering, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, wrote letters, posted online tributes and attended the funeral.
A Special thanks to Canon John Forsythe for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating Joey's Requiem Mass, enhanced by the beautiful music of The Gribben Girls.
To the doctors and nursers from Randalstown Medical Centre, Joey's team of daily carers for their dignified care and attention shown to Joey throughout his illness and to the Marie Curie nurses who provided respite to our family during Joey's final days. We, as a family, are forever grateful.
Sincere thanks to Paddy, Dessie and Shauna from Marrion’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, compassion and respectful handling of all the funeral arrangements.
Many thanks also to Grainne Toal and her staff for providing wonderful hospitality to our guests following the funeral.
Joey's Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 24th January at 6.00pm in St. MacNissi’s Church, Randalstown.
May he rest in peace
