Kieran, Fiona (Paul), grandchildren, Dylan, Callum, Caitlin, Eva, the Moane and Tierney families of the late Josie Tierney wish to express their sincere appreciation to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to them during their recent sad bereavement.

We are truly grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, those who travelled long distances to be with us. Those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, text messages, social media messages, your kindness prayers and support have brought us great peace. Our heartfelt thanks to our extended family and mum’s lovely neighbours and friends who were constantly with us. Thanks to all Josies friend and neighbours who provided a welcome home in the form of a guard of honor for her on the Tuesday night as she returned to her home for one last time. To all the kind people who lined the roads as mum travelled back to her native St Joseph’s, Coonian for her funeral mass and the same on her return to St Tierney’s Roslea for burial. This lovely gesture meant so much to the family.

Thanks especially to Fr Chester for his spiritual guidance and support throughout this difficult time and for his lovey Eulogy and to Fr Gallagher for concelebrating a beautiful and meaningful mass. To Pat and St Tierney’s choir, your singing and arrangements were a true comfort to our family and the congregations, to the readers, Eucharistic ministers and all who took part in the mass.

To Mags and Sean at Connolly Funeral Undertakers for their guidance, professionalism, dignity and compassion and always being there to support us, we are forever grateful, to the gravediggers who prepared mums final resting place with such attention and care. To all at Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Home, thank you for your compassion and kindness at this difficult time.

Thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at the SWAH Enniskillen for their care for mum during her time there, also to doctors and staff at Lisnaskea Health Centre. Thanks to the lovely staff at McDaid’s chemist, Roslea who were always so helpful to mum.

To those who took care of traffic control at Roslea snd at St Joseph’s Coonian. Thanks to Denise and staff at Brian’s Bar, Roslea for the refreshments after the funeral.

Josie will be sadly missed by her family, neighbours and friends and all who knew her. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

As it would be impossible to tank each one of you individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

Josie’s months mind mass will be held in St Tierney’s Chapel, Roslea on Sunday 29th March at 10:30am
