The Family of the late Joy Black wish to sincerely thank all those who helped support us after the sudden and unexpected loss of Joy/Mum.
We would like to thank everyone who called at our home, sent cards, messages, made food, helped in the home during the wake to provide teas and those who attended the funeral service.
We extend our gratitude also to all those who donated to the two charities that were so close to Joy’s heart, in lieu of flowers.
We would like to extend our gratitude to our neighbour Glynis and the paramedic crews of the NIAS for their efforts to save Joy.
Thanks to Rev Greer for his visits to the home and to Rev Currie for conducting the funeral service. Thanks to Clark Hill and the members of Molesworth Presbyterian church who assisted at the funeral and to Tanya Stewart for playing the piano at the service.
Also our thanks to Edith Blair and her team for providing the refreshments in the hall after the funeral.
We also want to thank Helen Watters and Staff of D. Watters Funeral Services for their compassionate care and professional guidance in planning Joy’s funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
