Acknowledgement and Month’s Mind

Kate Dooher

The family of the late Kate Dooher would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who comforted and supported us during our recent bereavement.

A special word of thanks to Fr McGavigan of Pennyburn Church and Fr Harrison of Killala Church, Co. Mayo, for the wake and funeral Masses.

We would also like to thank the staff of Ward 50 at Altnagelvin Hospital and Foyle Hospice, whose care and compassion towards Kate brought great comfort during her final days.

The family would especially like to thank the carers from the Western Trust, Strabane & District Caring Services, Bryson Care and Northwest Care, as well as the carers who became close friends, for looking after Kate throughout her illness with such professionalism, tenderness and respect.

Our thanks also go to Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Directors and Lynn’s Funeral Home in Killala for the dignified and professional manner in which they managed the wake and funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our deepest appreciation and gratitude.

Kate’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Pennyburn Church on Saturday, 29 August, at the 6.15 p.m. Vigil Mass, and in Killala Church on Saturday, 19 September, at 11.00 a.m.
