Kate McCARTNEY

We, the family of the late Kate McCartney R.I.P. wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to our relatives, friends and work colleagues who called to our home, sent cards, letters of condolence and donations. We offer special thanks to our close neighbours the Berwick and O’Hara families who helped to facilitate Kates wake.

A special thanks to all the staff in Ward A1, Antrim Area Hospital who cared so kindly and compassionately for Kate especially Dr Niall McCourt. Kate received excellent care throughout her short illness for which we are sincerely appreciative.

We would also like to thank Canon John Forsythe for all his support and spiritual guidance and for celebrating Kates beautiful funeral mass. Special thanks to Niamh McGlinchey and Colm O’Kane for the touching music which enriched the Mass so beautifully. Special thanks to our readers Eimear, Terry, and Stephen. We would also like to thank Grainne and her team who provided refreshments following the funeral service.

Thank you to Dermot, Paddy, and Dessie and all at Marrion’s Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified manner in which they dealt with everything for our family. Special thanks to Kickhams Creggan GAC for their assistance throughout this time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our gratitude.

Kates month mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 5th February at 10.00am in St Mac Nissi’s Church, Randalstown and may also be viewed on the parish webcam.
