The family of the late Kathleen Blake wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who supported them following Kathleen’s recent death.
Thank you to all who sympathised with us, offered condolences, sent letters, Mass cards and sympathy cards, attended the wake and funeral, visited us, or kept in touch in the days and weeks following Kathleen’s passing. We are especially grateful to the many people who travelled long distances to attend Kathleen’s Funeral Mass and burial.
To our wonderful family, neighbours and friends, thank you for your unfailing kindness, friendship and support, both during this difficult time and throughout the years.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the devoted carers who looked after Kathleen in her final years with such compassion, dignity and kindness. Kathleen was blessed with incredible carers who cared for her at home for many years, and latterly with devoted care staff at both the Millverne and Millcroft Care Homes.
Our grateful thanks also go to Dr James Meade and to the doctors, nurses and reception staff at Lakeside Medical Practice for the exceptional care and attention they gave Kathleen over many years. We also sincerely thank the Hospital at Home team for the care they provided to Kathleen and for the support they gave to our family.
The family wishes to thank Monsignor Peter O’Reilly for his presence with Kathleen, and for his prayers and blessing.
We are deeply grateful to Fr Raymond Donnelly for his presence in the days following Kathleen’s passing, for his prayerful support and guidance to the family, and for preparing and celebrating Kathleen’s beautiful Requiem Mass in St Michael’s Church.
Our thanks also go to all the priests of St Michael’s Parish for their prayers and support over the years.
We offer our sincere thanks to Kathleen’s cousin, Fr Michael McCullagh, for concelebrating her Funeral Mass and for his constant, prayerful and unwavering support.
Thank you to the parish sacristans for preparing the church and assisting during Kathleen’s Requiem Mass.
To Mary Keenan and Sharon Kelly, we are deeply grateful for the beautiful music and singing which contributed so much to Kathleen’s Requiem Mass.
Finally, we extend our sincere thanks to Pat and Mark Blake of Patrick Blake Funeral Directors for the dignified, sensitive and professional manner in which they carried out Kathleen’s funeral and burial arrangements, and for the support they gave to our family throughout.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Kathleen Blake will be celebrated at St Michael’s Church, Enniskillen on Saturday 8th August 2026 at 6.00pm
