COSGRAVE – Kathleen

We, the family of the late Kath Cosgrave, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us during the recent bereavement of our Mother.

Your presence at the wake and funeral, your kind words, Mass and Sympathy Cards and donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Society were greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all those who brought food to the house and to our friends, neighbours and extended family who assisted us over the wake and funeral period; your many acts of kindness meant so much to us.

A special word of thanks to Deacon Michael Rooney, for his prayer, words of comfort and making Mummy’s Funeral Mass so meaningful and personal and for his pastoral care over these past few years. We would also like to express our gratitude to Fr. McNeill and Canon Brown who concelebrated the Funeral Mass, your presence was greatly appreciated.

We are deeply grateful to PJ, Colm and Sean of Peter McGinn Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and dignified manner with which they conducted Mummy’s funeral arrangements.

To Eileen Mooney and Emily, thank you for the beautiful music and singing which added so much to the service.

We would like to express our thanks to the Dromore Diocesan Lourdes and Ballela GAC for providing the lovely guards of honour at the Church.

Thanks also to the staff of the Diamonds Restaurant who provided food and refreshments following the funeral.

We would particularly like to acknowledge the exceptional care given to our Mother by the staff of Banbridge Trust Homecare Team and by Kathleen, Mairead and Monica. We will be forever grateful for the love you bestowed on Mummy and for caring so lovingly for her. Your kindness, dignity and compassion brought so much comfort to us a family. Thanks also to Dr. Dillon’s GP Practice, the staff of Banbridge Health Centre and the District Nursing Team.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Mummy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 28th September at 9.45am in All Saint’s Church, Ballela.
