The family of the late Kathleen Duffy wish to express our sincere and heartfelt
gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent
bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who offered
support, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolences. We are
humbled by your kindness and compassion.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Kanakaratna and the staff of SWAH Wards 3 and 8,
Doctors Mallon and McConville and their staff for the kindness, compassionate care
and dedication shown to Mum throughout her illness.
Special thanks to Bridie Duffy who supported Mum and Dad during Mam’s time in
hospital.
We would like to express our gratitude to Leeanne McGovern, Funeral Director, Pat
Meehan and the gravediggers for the dignified and professional manner in which the
funeral arrangements were carried out and for the guidance and support given to our
family during this difficult time.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake at our home, sincere thanks to all
who directed traffic, transported people to and from the house, bought food, sent
meals and helped out in any way throughout these difficult days, this was deeply
appreciated.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr Cathal Deery who celebrated the beautiful and meaningful
Requiem Mass, and his support to Mum whilst in hospital.
A special thank you to the musicians Michelle and Mary, whose music and singing
made the funeral Mass so meaningful and comforting.
We also extend our sincere thanks to the Enniskillen Hotel for providing the
refreshments after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Kathleen is
greatly loved and sadly missed by her husband Gerald, son Kieran (Eve), her
daughters Anne (Philip), Monica (Stephen) and Angela (Grant), beloved
grandchildren Antony, Cormac and Niamh, and her sisters Moira (Paddy RIP), Anne
(Bernard RIP), Norah (Terry) and Rose (Ian), friends and extended family.
May her gentle and kind soul Rest in Peace
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Kathleen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Sunday 29th March, 11.30am, at St
Patrick’s Church, Derrygonnelly.
