ACKNOWLEDGEMENT / MONTH’S MIND MASS

We, Kathleen’s husband Jim, son Gareth, daughter Rachel and all her extended family, would like to express our sincere thanks to all who gave such tremendous support during our very difficult time.

Our thanks to all those who offered prayers, sympathy and support at Kathleen’s passing and throughout her years of failing health.

We want especially to thank our wonderful neighbours for always being available to help during these years when Kathleen’s health was declining and for their generosity and support at her wake and funeral. Your support and kindness was very much appreciated.
Sincere thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral and brought Mass cards and messages of sympathy and to all those who made tea and those who helped in any way at the wake and funeral.

We are sincerely grateful to Fr. J. Gormley for the peace and comfort he brought Kathleen during his monthly visits with the Blessed Eucharist, for his prayers and support during the wake and for his lovely words during the beautiful and uplifting Mass.
Our thanks to Michelle and Ursula who added so much to the Mass with their beautiful singing and music.
Thanks to those who did the readings, read the prayers of the faithful and brought up the gifts and to all who helped carry the coffin.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the medical staff at Oakleaf Medical for their years of care and attention for Kathleen’s medical needs.

Our sincere gratitude to all the doctors and nursing staff on Ward 32 at Altnagelvin Hospital who cared so professionally and compassionately for Kathleen, especially during her final days.

A special word of thanks to Hospital Chaplain, Fr. Shaun Doherty, for the meaningful and gentle ministering of the rites of the church.

Our heartfelt gratitude to W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professionalism, kindness and compassion with which they conducted their business throughout.

A Mass will be offered for the intentions of all those who contributed with such love, compassion and exemplary neighbourness.

Kathleen's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 1st October 2026 at 7.15 pm in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty.

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
