Kathleen Hannah, (Corcreevy, Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone, late of Dundrum)
Died 6th September 2025.

We, the family of the late Kathleen Hannah, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us during our recent sad bereavement. Kathleen was the devoted wife of the late Alex, a dearly loved sister and sister-in-law, and an adored aunt, who is greatly missed.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Sincere thanks to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, flowers, and to those who left messages on social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake in Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Home in Lisnaskea, this was greatly appreciated. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the requiem Mass, especially Kathleen’s neighbours who travelled to be with us. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in so many ways, to grieve together as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Brendan Gallagher P.P. for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. Also, thank you to Father John Chester for his kindness and spiritual support at the wake and funeral Mass. We convey our appreciation to the sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Louise Coyle and musician Michael Curran who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the gravedigger Brendan for preparing Kathleen’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the beautiful floral tribute, and to The Valley Hotel for the most welcome refreshments after the funeral.

We would like to sincerely thank the medical and administrative staff at Dundrum & Clough Surgery and the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald for the care and respect shown to Kathleen. Also, the PSNI who showed such compassion and sensitivity in dealing with the family.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Kathleen was greatly loved and will be missed every day. May her gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Brookeborough on Saturday 18th October at 7.00pm. Our Lady pray for her.
