The death has occurred of:
Kathleen McCourt (née Hughes)
We the daughters and son of the late Kathleen McCourt R.I.P, wish to express our
heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported us
during the recent sad bereavement of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt,
mother-in-law and friend to many.
To our wonderful family, friends and neighbours who brought food, helped set up the
wake, provided parking and stewarding during the wake, sent messages of
condolences, mass and sympathy cards, those of you who kept us in your prayers,
we thank you.
We wish to acknowledge the staff of Greenpark Nursing Home who took such kind
and loving care of our mother in recent years. Your exemplary care and compassion
was a great source of comfort to us and will never be forgotten.
We also appreciate the thoughtful donations made in lieu of the Residents Comfort
fund at Greenpark’s Nursing Home.
A special word of thanks to the priests of our parish, Rev. Fr. McCann and Rev.
Canon O’Neill PP who attended the wake, led prayers in the house and celebrated
the funeral mass.
We wish to thank Dr. Noel Mc Elvanna from the Archway surgery in Armagh, who
helped care for mum during her time in Greenpark Nursing Home.
To Dermot McCusker and Catherine Grimley-Hughes for their beautiful singing and
music which enhanced the mass so much, we thank you. To Michael Hughes, the
sacristan of St. Joseph’s, thank you for the immaculate preparation of the chapel.
Our gratitude is also extended to Pauline Coyle – the Eucharistic Minister – who
assisted Rev. Fr. Mc Cann during the funeral mass.
We send our appreciation to Richard Emerson who so carefully and meticulously prepared mums
final resting place.
Thank you to Damian Smith and Sons Undertakers for the professional handling of
the funeral arrangements.
Finally, to everyone who helped us and continues to support us as a family, the Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Kathleen’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 10th April 2026 at 7pm in
St. Joseph’s Church, Madden.
May Kathleen rest in eternal peace.
