In loving memory of our beloved mother Kathleen McDaid on her 1st Anniversary
Though we need to weep your loss,
you dwell in that safe place in our hearts where no storm or night can reach you.
When the ghost of loss finds its way to us and the sadness of missing you feels too heavy to bear, may we find comfort in knowing that love does not end.
Gradually, we learn acquaintance
with the invisible form of your presence, finding you not only in memory, but in the beauty of the world around us and in the love you left behind.
A year has passed since you left us, yet you remain forever part of who we are.
