The death has occurred of:
Kathleen TRACEY
Acknowledgment / Months Mind
The family of the late Kathleen Tracey would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the sad loss of our much-loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie and friend. To all who called to the wake, telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards and attended the funeral, your words of comfort and support were gratefully received and very much appreciated. Many thanks to our friends and family, neighbours and colleagues who supported us throughout this time, sending food to the house and for all the help at the wake house.
Thank you to all the nursing staff and consultants in Ward 24 Altnagelvin Hospital for the exceptional care that our mother received. and to every visitor she received, (especially those who travelled long distances) both at the hospital and at home, she was delighted to see you all. To her wee best friends who were constantly sitting with her throughout her illness. Thanks also to Deirdre Carlin for bringing her communion & giving heartfelt blessings filled with warmth and grace. These all brought a lot of comfort to us.
A special mention to Dominic Kirwan and Daniel O’Donnell who called to visit her at home. This really meant the world to her and us. Thank you both so much.
A huge word of thanks to the District Nurses Michelle & Linzi and Melissa & the Palliative Care Team at Foyle Hospice who have all been amazing throughout and ensured that she remained pain free.
Heartfelt thanks to Father Canny for the many visits, prayers and for celebrating the Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Sarah and Isobel for enhancing the Mass with their beautiful music and hymns. Thanks as well to Gary Curran who so beautifully sang ‘her’ song Noreen Bawn as she left her home for the final time.
Much appreciation is offered to Willie & Kieran and staff at WJ O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, who carried out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified and caring manner.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by Kathleen’s many friends, extended family and neighbours, as a token of our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude.
Kathleen's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 25th June at Church of The Immaculate Conception Trench Road at 7.30pm.
All welcome.
