Acknowledgement – Kevin Kelly,
Fintona, Co Tyrone.
Died 27th November 2025.

The family of the late Kevin would like to express their deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported them through their recent sad bereavement. Kevin was a widely respected gentleman and was the much loved brother of Sean (Irene), Maureen (late Eddie), Philip (late Betty) and Bernadette (late Seamus), as well as a dearly loved uncle and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Sincere thanks to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers, and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Diane and Geraldine for their excellent work in the kitchen. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, your support has helped us in so many ways, to find strength and grieve together as a family.

A special word of thanks to Very Rev. Father Seán Mulligan P.P. for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Ceallach Reid who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Kevin’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tribute and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally, we would like to sincerely thank all the kind neighbours and friends who visited Kevin both at home and in hospital during his illness, your help and kindness were greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to the staff of Ward 3 in the South West Acute Hospital for caring so well for Kevin, are very grateful for the kindness and respect shown to him.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Kevin was greatly loved and will be missed every day. May his gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 16th January at 7.30pm. Our Lady pray for him.
