The Family of the late Kevin McAlynn, Ratheen Avenue, Cookstown, wish to express our profound and heartfelt gratitude to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who provided invaluable support during our recent bereavement.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Fr McNally and Fr Boyle for their spiritual comfort, guidance and for celebrating Kevin's beautiful requiem Mass.

A special word of thanks is extended to the eucharistic ministers, the church sacristan and especially to Ellie O’Neill and Nuala McCormick for providing the lovely music and singing that made Kevin's funeral Mass so special. We also thank the gravediggers for preparing Kevin's resting place with great care, and all others who helped us in any way.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped care for Kevin. This includes the dedication hospital staff, GP’s, Pharmacists and all the carers who looked after Kevin at home. A particular thank you to Eilis and the entire hospice team for their compassionate care.

We were immensely comforted by the overwhelming support shown through mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages, wreaths, floral tributes and condolences expressed via telephone and social media.
Also the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortege route, joined us at the chapel or viewed Kevin's funeral mass online was a great source of strength on the day of the funeral.
We are grateful for the help and support provided by Mickey McElhatton from the Greenvale and for Fr Rocks for their help and generosity during this time.

We Sincerely thank Colleèn of Niall A Loughran Funeral Directors for the exceptional, efficient, dignified and professional manner in which all the funeral arrangements were carried out during this difficult time.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation, the holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Kevin's months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 22nd at 6:00pm in Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Cookstown and can be viewed using the link below:
