Funeral update for the late Laurence Evans RIP
Laurence died peacefully on 2nd January 2026.
Beloved father of Blinne, Lorcán, Fainche and Dara, may he rest in peace.
Laurence’s remains are reposing at his sister Roisin’s home, 40 Tamnaghbane Road, Killeavy, BT35 8LE, from 2 pm today, Monday 5th January 2026, until 10 pm and 10 am until 10 pm on Tuesday 6th January 2026.
Funeral leaving the house on Wednesday, 7th January 2026, at 11.30 am for 12.30 pm Requiem Mass in the Church of St Catherine, Dominic Street, Newry.
Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Newry.
Deeply regretted by his daughters, sons, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and Lesley, mother of his children; his siblings, Yvonne, Kieran, Roisin, Cathal, and Declan; and the entire family circle and friends.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
