Liam Deery
Died - 5 October 2025
We, the daughters and family of the late Liam Deery, wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude for all the kindness, support and sympathy we received on our recent loss of our much loved and cherished Daddy, Granda, brother and uncle.
Thankyou to everyone who paid their respects for Liam, those who attended the wake or funeral, brought food, sent flowers, sympathy cards & heartfelt messages or remembered us in prayer during the most difficult time, your kindness will never be forgotten.
Sincere thanks to Kieran Connor and his team at McClafferty Funeral Directors for the professional, sensitive and dignified manner which every aspect of the wake and funeral arrangements were carried out, they went above and beyond their duty and we will be eternally grateful.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, medical staff and palliative care team on Ward 41 and Ward 26 Altnagelvin Hospital for the comfort, support and care given to Liam during his illness.
Our deepest gratitude to Father Roni, St. Joseph’s Chapel, Galliagh for his kind words of support at such a difficult time and for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass with so much compassion.
A special thanks also to Lauren & Bethany Doherty for the beautiful and fitting music during the service.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Liam’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 4th November at St Joseph’s Chapel, Galliagh at 7pm. Everyone welcome.
