Lily GLACKIN
The family of the late Lily Glackin (R.I.P.) who passed away 31st January 2026 wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to: Everyone who called at the wake, brought Mass & Sympathy cards also Letters and all who attended the Requiem Mass;
Special thanks to all our Relatives, and Friends who helped out during the wake. To the Doctors and staff of Sanville Care Home Coalisland, Dr O'Donnell GP, Home Hospital Care Team Dr Nelson and especially all the staff and carers for the warmth and kindness provided to Lily during their illness.
To Joanna & Colleen from Niall A Loughran funeral directors for the professional and caring manner in which was carried out the funeral arrangements;
A special word of thanks to Fr Eugene O'Neill Coalisland, Fr Laurance Boyle, Fr Brian McNally & Deacon Andy Hegarty for the celebration of Lily's Requiem Mass, and for visiting the house during the wake. We thank Monsignor O'Byrne & Fr David Moore for their kindness to Lily during her time in the Parish of Magherafelt, also Spred & The Gateway Club.
To Maeve & Patrick for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass;
Thanks also to Michael and the Staff of the Greenvale Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral;
As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally who was so kind to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Lily's months mind Mass will be held on Saturday February 28th 2026 at 10.00am in Church of the Most Holy Trinity Church Cookstown. Please join us after Mass for tea / coffee in the Stable.
