Linda OWENS
The family of the late Linda Owens of Rock/Cookstown would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us during our recent bereavement.
Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Boyle for his spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Linda's beautiful Requiem Mass and also Fr Slater for visiting Linda at her family home.
A special word of thanks to the Eucharistic Ministers, the Church Sacristan and Roisin and Emmett for providing the lovely music and singing which made Linda's Funeral Mass so special.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped care for linda especially the dedicated team of Carers from MacMillian unit Antrim Area Hospital they all took great care in looking after her in recent weeks and months.
We are indebted to all those who supported us, sent Mass cards,sympathy cards, letters, messages, wreathes, floral tributes, and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. Thank you to those who stood along the route as Linda made her final journey home. We took great comfort on the morning of the funeral from the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortege route, from those who joined us at the Chapel, and from those who viewed Linda’s funeral Mass online.
A special word of thanks to the gravediggers who prepared Linda’s resting place with great care and to all those who helped us in any way, to the local GAA Communities, the committee and volunteers of the Rock Community Hub, and the Glenavon House Hotel for all their help with refreshments after the funeral. Also to Oasis bingo and Brenda and Barry from pizzeria for their generosity, and all the support everyone has gave the family throughout Linda’s short illness.
We would sincerely like to thank Colleén of Niall A Loughran funeral directors for her very efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements during these difficult times.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
