(Lord) Thomas Arthur NELSON
It is with great sadness that the family of (Lord) Thomas Arthur Nelson announce his death on Saturday 20th May 2023, at the age of 80. A life well lived.
Tom passed away in his childhood home in Mount Merrion with his devoted wife of 57 years, Marie by his side.
Tom will be lovingly remembered and celebrated by his wife Marie, Children Deborah Christina and Laurence. Grandchildren Rebecca, Jazzmin, Luke, Lennin, Bryanne, Zofie, Owenea, Reelan-Rose and Poppy. Great Grandchild Finley and Siblings Anne, Laurence and the late Noel.
Tom was born on the 6th June in Belfast. When Tom wasn’t working hard as a specialist welder in his own business, you could find him in his garden tending to his veg and flowers, watching the birds with a cup of coffee or escaping to Donegal for a spot of fishing and a pint.
Tom now joins his beloved son Brian in his little white fishing boat, setting sail on another adventure.
Brian Said, “See you tomorrow” and Tom replied “Today is my tomorrow”
The funeral service will be held in Wiltons Funeral Home, 334 Ravenhill Road at 11am on Tuesday 30th May. Followed by a burial at 12pm in Roselawn Cemetery (Section P).
All are welcome to attend.
