The family of the Louise Shiels would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their sympathy and support during the recent bereavement of a devoted wife, mother, daughter sister, aunt, and friend.
We’re sincerely grateful to the wider family, friends, neighbours, and community for their unwavering support, comfort and help during this difficult time.
A special note of appreciation goes to Peter and the staff at McLaughlin Funeral Directors Dungiven for their professionalism and sensitivity whilst arranging the funeral. Thanks also to Fr McFaul who celebrated the Requiem Mass which was a fitting tribute to Louise. Thanks to John McNicholl,Liam and Jeanette Kelly for the beautiful music.
Thank you to everyone who attended Louise’s funeral and wake, brought mass and sympathy cards, gifts of food, and helped us with organising things. The volume of support we received is a testament to the life Louise lead and whilst we can’t thank everyone individually here, we want to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all of you.
Louise’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 16 December at St Mary’s Church, Creggan at 7.30pm.
