We the family of the late Lucy Reid would like to thank everyone for their support, love and kindness during and since the time of our recent bereavement.
Thank you to our extended family, friends and neighbours for all their help during the wake also everyone who brought food to the house.
Thank you to everyone who sent messages, floral tributes and mass cards and those that attended the wake and funeral.
Thanks also to all the different charities in Belfast that helped Lucy in so many ways, your kindness has not gone unnoticed.
We are extremely grateful to Fr Laurence Boyle for celebrating requiem mass with warmth and dignity, thanks also to the Eucharistic Minister, also Gerry Loughran for the beautiful music during Lucy’s funeral mass, also to the grave diggers who prepared Lucy’s final resting place.
Thanks to Colleèn at Niall Loughran’s funeral directors for her compassion and care shown to Lucy and all our family throughout the wake and funeral.
Thanks also to Mickey McElhatton and the staff of the Greenvale Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a sincere expression of our families heartfelt appreciation to everyone who supported us in any way.
Lucy’s month mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 29th of August 2026 at 10am in Church of the Most Holy Trinity Cookstown.
