We the family of the late Lynda Hill would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who offered their condolences and support during our recent, sudden loss. We are deeply thankful for every act of kindness, including those who visited our home, provided meals, assisted with refreshments, sent thoughtful cards and messages, and attended the funeral service. Your support was invaluable.
Special thanks to the Sperrin Restaurant for the generous supply of food during the wake, and to Oh Crumbs Omagh for the wonderful traybakes. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Lynda's colleagues and employer at Victoria Bridge shop for the abundance of scones. Your generosity was truly overwhelming.
We are incredibly grateful to the Strahulter Road car parking team and those who provided floodlights for your invaluable assistance.
Our deepest appreciation goes to the dedicated doctors and nurses of Ward 31 at Altnagelvin Hospital, the palliative care team, especially Lynda's friend Cherry Ewing, Newtownstewart Medical Practice, the district nurses, and the Marie Curie nurse. Your compassionate care for Lynda was exceptional and deeply comforting.
Thank you to Rev. Ivan Dinsmore for his pastoral care and for conducting such a personal and beautiful funeral service, and to Rev. Rodger McElnea and Rev Geoffrey Abraham We also thank the organist, Matthew Spence for his beautiful solo of amazing grace and tea ladies of Ardstraw Parish Church for providing a comforting tea after the service.
We are also indebted to Hood and Co. Funeral Directors for their compassionate and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements, to the PSNI for managing traffic control and to David Baxter for the burial at Droit Graveyard
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our family – the Hills, Mills, Allisons, and Kees – to Lynda's dearest friends, and to all our neighbours, friends and Ryan and Geoffrey Sproule for your unwavering support during these incredibly challenging days.
We are immensely grateful for the donations made to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers, which totaled £2,840.00.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude.
From Ian, Luke, Matty, mother in law Margaret, Ed, Lorraine, Caroline, Mark and family.
