Maggie Harkin
The family of the late Maggie Harkin wish to express their heartfelt and sincere gratitude to all who supported and comforted us following Maggie’s passing.
We extend our deepest thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, messages and donations to Life & Time. We are especially grateful to all those who travelled from near and far to be with us and to those who kept Maggie and our family in their thoughts and prayers. Your kindness and support have been a great source of comfort to us.
We wish to sincerely thank all the doctors, district nurses and carers who cared for Maggie throughout her illness. A special mention to carers Niamh, Tara and Louise for the wonderful care, kindness and comfort they gave to Maggie.
Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team at Life & Time for the exceptional care they provided to Maggie, and for the kindness, compassion and dignity they showed to her and to our family during the most difficult periods. We will always be deeply grateful for the care and support they gave us.
A very special thank you to Fr Des Mooney for celebrating Maggie’s Requiem Mass and for making it such a beautiful and memorable occasion.
We would also like to thank Méabh, Cathal and all the staff at McAnulty Funeral Directors for their kindness, care and guidance throughout the funeral arrangements.
Our sincere thanks to Aoife Grant for her beautiful and gracious singing at Maggie’s Requiem Mass, to Mitchell McAteer for the beautiful music at her graveside, and to the McAteer family for helping to make Maggie’s final farewell so special.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our family’s deepest gratitude. To all who supported us in any way, through your presence, presents, kindness, prayers, messages and acts of compassion, we will be eternally grateful.
Maggie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 5th September at 6.00pm in St Mary’s Star of the Sea, Rostrevor.
