Acknowledgement
Brigid and Family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and supported with us in our recent loss of Malachy. To all who attended the wake, Funeral Mass, sent Mass/Sympathy Cards, messages, telephoned and sent floral tributes, and brought food to our home. A special thank you to all our neighbours, friends and relatives, we took great comfort from your kindness and support.
Thank you to Fr John McCallion for delivering Malachy’s Requiem Mass and also to Canon Benny Fee for your visits and support to daddy whilst in hospital. To all who participated in Daddy’s Funeral Mass, especially our cousins, Jim Hanna, Piper, Aisling McCourt and Niall Hanna for their beautiful singing and music.
A special word of thanks to Patsy, Edel & Brendan - Taggart Funeral Services for the efficient, dignified and compassionate manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Also to Gary Harte, grave digger for preparing Malachy’s final resting place.
To the Guards of Honour, both at family home and Chapel, especially Derrytresk GAC, both Ulster and Tyrone Camogie and St Joseph’s College Coalisland. Also to Derrytresk GAC for their premises for food afterwards.
Thanks also to Dirragh Kitchens for Marquee, DPC for lighting and Berts Pizza, Seamus & Carolina Corr. Finally thank you to Daddy’s carers from Ann’s Home Care, Ward 2 South CAH and also to Ashbrook Care Home Staff for their diligent care of Malachy in his final days. As it is not possible to personally thank everyone, we sincerely hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our eternal appreciation.
Malachy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Chapel, Clonoe on Tuesday 10 March at 7:30 pm.
