It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Malachy Kelly, suddenly at his home on 31st January 2026.
Late of 11 Broadway, Creggan and formerly of 35 Edenmore Street. May he rest in peace.
Beloved husband of Anna. Devoted father of Susan, Ann-Marie, Tina, Margaret, Sharon, Colin, Fiona, Cathy, Gerald, Sinead, Patricia and James. A dear father-in-law. Loving granda and great-granda to all of his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearest son of the late JF and Maggie. A much loved brother of Tony, Eugene, Anne and the late Neil. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.
Malachy’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 11 Broadway, Creggan from 3pm this afternoon, Monday 2nd February. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday 4th February at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The wake house will be private for close family and friends. The wake house will be strictly private from 9pm until 11am.
