Appreciation from the Family of the Late Malachy Ryan RIP, Aneeter Road, Moortown
Please share
Wife Bridget, son Stephen (Janine), daughters Roisin (Matt), Siobhan (Henry), and the family of the late Malachy wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Husband, Daddy and Granda (Ga).
To all those who visited our home during the wake, attended the funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards, flowers, sent messages, phoned, left comments and posted on social media, or donated to Lough Neagh Rescue in Malachy’s name, we are eternally thankful.
Thank you to Sarah’s Snack Shack, Tasty Mac’s, local shops and everyone that brought food and gifts to our family home. Thank you to Corky and the staff of Kinturk Cultural Centre for providing refreshments after the funeral. Thanks to the committee of the Community Hall for the use of their facilities. Also, thanks to Moortown St Malachy’s GAC for their assistance with car parking at the Club grounds.
We would especially like to thank our entire family circle, friends, neighbours and everyone that helped in any way over the wake. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort during a very difficult time.
A special word of thanks for Fr. Tremer for the support and guidance provided to our family and the heartfelt celebration of Requiem Mass. Thank you to the Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, Siobhan and Rory for the beautiful angelic singing and music which added so much to the poignant funeral mass.
Thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Coagh Medical Centre, John and the staff of Coagh Pharmacy. A special thank you to the Community Specialist Palliative Care Team, District Nursing, the amazing Carers of Home Care Services and Deans Buddy Service for your outstanding care and support. All your care was very much appreciated.
We are grateful to Conan and Pat of Lavery’s Funeral Directors for their professional and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the Grave diggers for preparing the grave and to John W & John McL for erecting the marquee at home for those visiting the wake house.
We are overwhelmed by the support and kindness we have received; As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Malachy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 8th June at 7.30pm in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moortown. Mass can also be viewed on the Church Webcam for all those unable to attend in person.
