The Family of the late Marcella O’Kane wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who supported and sympathised with us during our recent and very sad loss.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Roni Zacharias for the meaningful Requiem Mass and lovely eulogy and to Fr. Lagan for visiting Marcella in hospital. Thank you to Sarah and Damien for the beautiful music. To Isobel and Dermot who supported us in so many thoughtful ways. We are truly grateful.
We are also deeply grateful to all our family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral and sent mass and sympathy cards. Your prayers and messages were a great source of comfort during a very difficult time.
A special word of thanks to the staff at Seymour Gardens for their great love and care they showed Marcella in recent years. To the staff on Ward 31 and A&E Department in Altnagelvin Hospital for their compassion and kindness towards Marcella during her palliative care.
Thanks to W J O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified service throughout the wake and funeral.
As we are unable to thank everyone in person, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks.
Marcella’s months mind mass will be celebrated in St. Brigids, Carnhill on Thursday 26th February at 7pm.
