Margaret (Betty) McKELVEY

McKELVEY — The family of the late Margaret (Betty) McKelvey would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends, and neighbours for the kindness, support, and sympathy shown following our mum's passing.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and a special thanks to the doctors and staff at Saintfield Health Centre, and to the District Nursing Team, NI Hospice Team for their dedicated care and attention throughout Mum's illness.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to all the wonderful staff at the Marie Curie Hospice for the incredible compassion, dignity, and care they provided to Mum, and for the comfort they offered to our family during her time there.

We are deeply grateful to the Reverend Anna Williams for her invaluable support, guidance, and comfort, and for conducting such a beautiful and meaningful funeral service for Mum.

Our sincere thanks also go to everyone at McBriar’s Funeral Service for their professionalism, kindness, and dignified guidance throughout all the funeral arrangements.

We would like to thank Anna Smyth for her beautiful singing and help throughout the funeral along with the lovely catering provided by Daphne Scott.

To all of Mum’s friends and everyone who called at the family home, sent cards, messages of sympathy, brought food, attended her funeral service, or offered comfort and support during this tragic time, we are deeply grateful.

As a family, we have been truly overwhelmed by the love, kindness, and support we have received from our close family and friends in the past few weeks. Your thoughtfulness has brought us great comfort and will never be forgotten.

It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude. Our words will never be enough to express our thanks to you all.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
