It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret (Katrina) Johnston née Holden, peacefully at home on 6th April 2026.
Late of 117 Fergleen Park. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of John-Paul. Devoted mother of Janine, Charmaine and Ryan. Dearest mother-in-law of Jonathan and Darryl. Loving Nana of Maddie, Cillian, Kerrie, Michaela, Harry, Luke, Kelsey, Zach, Cathair and Ellie. Precious daughter of the late Ronald and Isobel. A dear daughter-in-law of Caddie. A much loved sister and sister-in-law. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.
Katrina’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 117 Fergleen Park from 5pm this afternoon, Wednesday 8th April. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 10th April at 10:20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
