Margaret Louise (LOUISE) BAILIE
The family of the late Louise Bailie would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has shown them such kindness, love and support following their recent sad loss.
Louise was a much-loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, nanny, sister-in-law, aunt and friend, and she will be sorely missed by so many.
The family have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown to them and are incredibly grateful to everyone who has taken the time to call at the family home, attended Louise’s funeral, sent donations in lieu of flowers to St. George’s Parish Church Organ Fund, sent many cards and many beautiful tributes on Facebook, shared fond memories and simply just by being there when it was needed most.
We would wish to publicly record our thanks to the Consultants, Doctors and Nursing Staff of the Causeway Hospital, Antrim Area Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital and The Cancer Centre at The City Hospital; Clare - the Northern Ireland Hospice Nurse; the District Nursing Team; the night-sitters provided by Marie Curie and N.I. Hospice (especially Andrea who was with Louise at life’s end); the paramedics who each time called were most helpful and caring and most especially to the wonderful team of carers from ‘Anne’s Home Care’ who took care of Louise’s personal needs at home throughout her illness until her death – their help was very much appreciated by Louise herself, Roland and the family.
A very special thank you goes to our friend and Rector, Rev Brian Stewart for such a dignified, comforting and meaningful funeral service; to the organist Mark McGrath and to St. George’s Chamber Choir for the beautiful music, anthem and leading the praise and to the parishioners of St. George’s Parish Church for preparing and printing of the Order of Service and the provision of tea/coffee after the funeral in the Parish Hall.
Lastly, the family would also like to say a personal thank you to Mulholland’s Funeral Directors, Carrickfergus, for their compassionate support in assisting with the organisation of the funeral and for the dignified manner by which they carried out their duties. The family will always be grateful for the way in which Louise was ‘looked after’ whilst in their care. Their help and assistance made a very painful and emotional time that little bit easier.
There are simply too many people to thank individually, but please know that every message, every kind word, every visit and every gesture of support has meant more than you will ever know.
