The death has occurred of:
Margaret (Peggy) GILMARTIN (née Currid)
The family of the late Margaret (Peggy) Gilmartin wish to thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Heartfelt thanks to all our extended family, friends and neighbours who sent Mass and Sympathy cards, telephoned, sent messages, brought food and gifts, attended the Funeral Mass, watched online and to those who kindly made donations to Chest, Heart and Stroke through O’Kanes Funeral Directors or personally to the family.
Nazareth Care Village’s dedicated care, kindness and support for Peggy during her brief time there is remembered with warm appreciation.
Grateful thanks to Father Anthony Curran for his comforting celebration of Peggy’s life at the Requiem Mass, and to Raymond Lennon and the Choir whose music and singing enhanced the reverence of the occasion. Fr Michael Sheehan’s organisation, prayers and conversation provided much needed support to the family at this difficult time.
Sincere thanks to O’Kanes Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangements.
We are deeply grateful to all who supported and assisted us in any way during this difficult time. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Peggy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 9th May at 6 pm in the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Saintfield Road, Belfast, BT8 8TU
