Margaret Doran (née McErlean)

Doran (nee McErlean), (Lurgan, formerly of Belfast), December 16, 2025, peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret, beloved wife of Ray, and a cherished mother of Mairead, Catherine, Paula, Raymond, Mark, Declan and Jennifer. A dear mother-in-law to Brendan, Chris, Carla, Brandon, Pearl and Colum, and a devoted grandmother to her 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Loving daughter of the late Peggy and Geordie McErlean (Abyssinia Street, Belfast) and a dear sister of Peter (New Zealand), Sr. Mary, Annette, George, John, Sr. Kathleen, Deirdre, the late Gerard and Henry who died at infancy, a fondly remembered sister-in-law of Eileen, Anita, Tony, Ian, Margaret and the late Maureen and Joey, a cherished aunty to all her nieces and nephews.

Margaret will be reposing at her home, 26 Oakridge, BT66 8PD, today Wednesday from 12.00 noon until 9.00pm, where family and friends will be welcome to visit and pay their respects.

Funeral on Thursday at 9.30am from her home to St. Paul’s Church, Lurgan where Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10.00am. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.

On the morning of the funeral, the family kindly requests privacy at the family home. Thank you for your understanding.
