Margaret McLAUGHLIN

The family of the late Margaret McLaughlin would like to express our heartfelt and sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with and supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent sympathy cards, made donations in lieu of flowers, and supported us in so many thoughtful ways. The kindness shown to our family, along with your prayers and messages of comfort, meant more to us than words can express and was a great support to us at a very difficult time.

Our sincere thanks to Monsignor McCanny, Fr McDermott and Fr Hasson for their prayers and for concelebrating such a beautiful and meaningful funeral Mass. We are also very grateful to the singer Michelle Conaghan and to Gerard Bradley, the organist, for the beautiful music that added so much to the service.

We would like to extend special thanks to all the staff at Deanfield Nursing Home for the exceptional care, kindness and compassion shown to our mummy since March, and for the continued care and support they provide to our daddy. We are eternally grateful to you. Thank you also to Dr Quinn and Dr Brolly Medical Practice, who cared for our mummy over many years, and more recently to Aberfoyle Medical Practice.

We would also like to thank Curran’s Bakery for providing the food at the wake, and to Mary McCloskey and all those who so kindly helped with and provided refreshments in Bethany Hall following the funeral service.

Our sincere thanks to Kieran and Noeleen of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which they looked after the wake and carried out the funeral arrangements. Their kindness, guidance and attention to every detail were greatly appreciated by our family at such a difficult time.

At the time of our mummy’s passing, the support shown to our family was overwhelming, and we will always be grateful for everything that was done for us.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation.

Margaret’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 9.00 am on Sunday 25th January 2026 in Christ the King Church, Limavady.
