Died -12th August 2026
Patrick, Ann, Caroline and Martin, together with the entire family circle of the late Margaret O’Kane, would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone who sympathised with and supported them during their recent bereavement.
Sincere thanks to Margaret’s many friends and wonderful neighbours for their kindness, care and support over the years. We also thank everyone who visited the family home, attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, telephoned or sent messages of condolence.
Our heartfelt thanks to the carers from Bryson Care, Connected Health and North West Care, who looked after Margaret with such kindness, dignity and respect. We are also deeply grateful to the District Nursing Team at Scroggy Road and to the many girls who cared for Margaret privately. There are too many to name individually, but the family will be forever grateful for the exceptional care and companionship they provided.
Sincere thanks to Dr Brolly, Dr Quinn and everyone at Dr Ross’s Practice for the care and support they provided to Margaret and the family.
A special word of thanks to Monsignor Bryan McCanny for his pastoral care and support and for celebrating Margaret’s beautiful and meaningful Requiem Mass.
Thanks also to everyone at W. J. O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out Margaret’s funeral arrangements.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s sincere appreciation and gratitude.
Margaret’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 12th September 2026, at 4.30 p.m. in Christ the King Church, Limavady.
