The death has occurred of:
Margaret Rooney (née Reilly)
We the family of the late Margaret Rooney would like to take this opportunity to offer heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported and sympathized with us following our recent sad loss.
We are truly grateful to everyone who attended Swift & McCaffrey FH, house and funeral, including those who traveled afar to be with us and to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of condolences.
We as a family extend our sincere appreciation to all the carers who attended mum in her home, the nurses and doctors who looked after mum and the ambulance services who attended the home with such compassion and diligence and care, to those who visited, brought food, meals and those who helped in every way throughout the following days, you support meant more than we can express.
We extend special thanks to Fr Chester for his support and thoughtful eulogy, eucharistic ministers, Nicola and the beautiful singing from Roslea Choir and to all that contributed at the celebration of the funeral mass.
We extend special gratitude to Connolly FD, Mags and Sean for the support and professionalism in performing their duties with such dignity and compassion, going above and beyond. We thank the grave digger for his care and attention in preparing mum's resting place in such a respectful manor and maintaining the tradition of grave digging in the parish.
To Brian’s Bar for providing refreshments after the funeral.
As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
