Margaret Woods (nee Hand) Clogher, Co Tyrone.
The family of the late Margaret Woods wish to express our sincere appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all who called to the wake, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, donations and messages of condolence. Your kindness, prayers and support brought great comfort to us at this difficult time.
A special word of thanks to the staff of Ward 8 South West Acute Hospital for the care and kindness shown to Mum in her final days. Your compassion and dedication meant so much to Mum and to our family.
We also wish to thank the carers/friends, or as she fondly referred to them as “the girls” who cared for Mum so attentively while she was at home especially Nuala, Anne, Hazel, Orlagh and Siobhan.
A special word of thanks to her many close friends especially Mary, Gladys and Olive for all their help, support and friendship over the years.
Our sincere thanks to the staff at Valley Medical Practice, especially Dr Bingham, the District Nursing Team, the Acute Care Team, and to James of Valley Pharmacy for their care and kindness shown to Mum over many years.
A heartfelt thank you to Very Reverend Canon Noel McGahan PP, for visiting Mum at home over the years, for attending Mum in her final days, and for his truly personal and uplifting homily during her funeral mass which honoured Mum’s life so fittingly. We also thank Leesa, Michelle and Ciara for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass, which brought great comfort to us all.
Sincere thanks to Donal and Roisin of Donal Mellon Funeral Directors and to Brian McMahon for all their guidance and professionalism with the funeral arrangements for Mum.Thanks also to the grave diggers for preparing Mum’s final resting place.
We are especially grateful to our kind neighbours and friends, and to everyone who helped in any way during the wake and who provided food and refreshments. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
Our thanks to the management and staff of Corick House Hotel for providing the lovely refreshments after the funeral Mass.

Margaret’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Friday 27th March at 7.00pm in St Patrick’s Church, Clogher.
