Margie McSHERRY (née Strain)
19th February 2026 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital after a short illness, beloved wife of the late Tony, loving mother of Tony, Lisa and Chris, cherished mother-in-law of Emily, devoted grandmother of Ciara, Sarah, Louise, Gary and Orlaigh, great-grandmother of Dean, Clara, Maela, Aalayah, Ronan, Conall and Daibhin, much loved partner of Tony Smith and dear sister of Tony, Tim and the late John.
Margie will be reposing in her home, 38 Foyle Road, from 6 pm on Thursday. Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.45 am for 11.30 am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 11 pm to 11 am.
