An Acknowledgment and Appreciation
Philomena, the mother of the late Maria Donnelly of 10 Cave Hill Drive, Killycolpy, Ardboe, would like to extend her deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported her during her recent, sudden, and profound loss.
I am truly grateful to my relatives, friends, neighbours and especially to Maria’s dedicated carers: Helen, Mary and Cathy, and the Adult Day Centre, Cookstown who have cared for Maria over the years. Thank you all for the comfort you offered through your presence at the wake and funeral, and for the many kind gestures including Mass cards, Sympathy cards, and flowers.
A special thank you to Canon Benny Fee for leading Maria’s Requiem Mass and burial with such grace and dignity, sacristan Tommy Cross, and Gary Harte for his care in preparing Maria’s final resting place.
I am also deeply appreciative of Conan Lavery, Funeral Director for his professional and sensitive handling of all the arrangements, to Siobhan Robinson for the beautiful singing and Damian Donnelly for the music that added such warmth to the service.
To all who brought food and helped during the wake, your kindness and generosity will never be forgotten.
My sincere thanks to Kelly Anne Corr for providing the after-funeral meal, and to Sean Donnelly of Castlebay for the use of the venue. A heartfelt word of appreciation to the Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance who attended to Maria with such respect and compassion.
While it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this message as a token of my deepest appreciation and gratitude.
Maria’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 7th October at 7.30pm in St Bridget’s Church, Brocagh.
