Marian Downing (née Peers)
The family of the late Marian Downing wish to express their sincere appreciation to all those who offered their sympathy, support and kindness following their very sad loss.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral Mass, sent sympathy cards, messages of condolence, or offered their support in any way. Your presence and kindness have been a great comfort to us during this difficult time.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Father Brian Fitzpatrick PP for celebrating Marian’s Requiem Mass, and to the Hanna Sisters for providing the beautiful music. We are also grateful to the Church sacristan and volunteers for their help and assistance.
Our sincere thanks also to all the staff at William Street Surgery and the District Nursing Team who cared for Marian and attended to her during her final days. Your kindness, care and compassion will always be remembered and greatly appreciated.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Directors for their support, guidance and professionalism, and for conducting Marian’s funeral arrangements with such care, dignity and sensitivity.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Marian will take place on Tuesday 25th August at 10.30 am in St Patrick’s Church, Aghacommon.
