The husband and family of the late Marian McMonagle would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
To all who called at the Wake, travelled a distance, sent flowers, Mass or Sympathy Cards or attended the Funeral, your kind words of comfort and support were gratefully received and much appreciated.
We wish to express thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours and McDaid’s Bakery who all provided food for the Wake.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the Team in Ward 41, Altnagelvin Hospital, who cared for Marian in such an exemplary, professional, and caring fashion throughout her time in their care. Many thanks also to the Palliative Care Team in Altnagelvin for their sensitive, compassionate support for Marian and ourselves.
Particular thanks to Fr. Joe Gormley and Fr. Kevin Mulhern who consistently visited and attended to Marian while she was in hospital and for the beautiful celebration of the Liturgy at Marian’s funeral Mass. Your support was of great comfort to us all.
We would like to thank Catherine Kelly and Charlotte Logue for the beautiful singing and musical accompaniment which made the Mass so memorable.
Special thanks is extended to Paul and Joe of Bradley and McLaughlin Funeral Directors, for the professional, dignified and respectful manner in which they carried out the Funeral arrangements.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered up for all your intentions.
Marian’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty, on Saturday 9th September at 6 p.m.
