Marie Murphy (née McKeown)
Marie passed away peacefully in Daisy Hill Hospital, surrounded by her devoted family, on 6th January 2026. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of the late Daniel Murphy and much-loved mother of Michael, Mary, Danny, Brendan, Declan, Sharon and Kieran, and loving sister of Joseph, Colm, Deirdre and Aidan. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Mary, Sean, Thomas, Jim, Angela, Martina, Pauline and Fergal, RIP.
Marie will be reposing at her home, 11 Corlat Drive, Whitecross, from 8.30 pm today, Tuesday, 6th January 2026, until removal on Thursday, 8th January 2026, at 10 am for 11 am Requiem Mass in St Teresa’s Church, Tullyherron. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Marie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers, sister and entire family circle and friends.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
