The family of the late Marie Spellman wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Special thanks to those who attended the wake, contacted the family, sent cards, flowers, messages of condolences, provided food and refreshments and were present at the funeral . We greatly appreciate your support and generosity.
A special word of thanks to Fr Michael Canny P.P. and Canon Dinny McGettigan for concelebrating Marie's Funeral Mass. Fr. Michael captured Marie's life with kind words expressing the joy she brought to all she met.
We are also very grateful to Fidelma, Robert and Gerard for providing the music and singing at the Mass and those who participated in making the Mass so special.
We would also like to thank the doctors and all medical staff in ICU and Ward 1 South in Belfast City Hospital whose care of Marie and support offered to us will be remembered with gratitude.
We wish to sincerely thank W.J. O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, for their professional and dignified handling of Marie's funeral and the support they provided at this very difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Marie' s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Columb's Church, Chapel Road on Saturday 3rd January 2026 at 7pm.
