Marilyn Mary CLOSE
With great sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn Mary Close who left us peacefully on 1/10/2026.
Daughter of the late John and Mary Close, sister of John Close, mother of Ciaran, mother in law of Pola and grandmother of Demi.
She was the heart of our family - kind, steady, and endlessly giving.
Her wake will be held at her home address, 4 Clandeboye Drive from Sunday 4/10/2026 afternoon where all who loved her can come to share memories and celebrate her life.
Marilyn's Requiem Mass will be at St Matthews Church on Tuesday at 10am followed by Cremation.
Donations in lieu if so desired made payable to Marie Curie Hospice c/o P J Brown Funeral Directors.
We will carry her love with us always.
