Martha “Jean” HUGHES (née McCutcheon)
HUGHES Martha “Jean” (née McCutcheon) passed away 08/09/2026 peacefully in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Tommy, cherished mum of Shirley, Sonia, Alister & Julie, devoted nanny to Nathan, Sarah, Rebecca, Sasha, Jay, Hughie, Grace & Zack and precious great-nanny of Ella & Arthur. Jean will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by the entire family circle.
Family and friends will be made welcome in Sonia’s home, 17 Shandon Square, Portadown to share their condolences with the family on Wednesday 9th and Thursday 10th between 6pm and 8pm. House private at all other times and on the morning of the funeral, please.
A celebration of Jean’s life will take place in St. Columba’s Parish Church on Friday 11th September at 1pm followed by a private family committal.
