We the family of the Late Martin Rodgers wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers and support during the sad loss of our father, grandfather, husband and brother. Sincere thanks to everyone who attended the wake, funeral and to all of those who sent mass cards, personal messages, gifts of food and everyone who helped in any way.
We appreciate the kindness and generosity of our extended family and friends who supported us in any way. A special word of thanks to all the nurses, care assistants, kitchen staff and maintenance team in the Slieve Na Mon Care Home who cared for daddy during his illness and during his final days, with so much respect and compassion.
Thank you to the Palliative Care team who called every day. A thank you to Fr Kevin Mc Elhennon P.P. who called and prayed with daddy in his final days. Thank you to Fr Thomas Canning P.P. for the beautiful requiem mass, to Louise Kerwin and Paul Prichard for the beautiful singing and music.
Thanks to Jacqui and staff of Maguires Funeral Services for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thank you to the Gravediggers Ciaran and Charlie in Drumragh Cemetery for preparing dad’s final resting place. A thank you to the P6 children and staff of St Conor’s Primary School for the guard of honour.
Thanks to the Coach Inn and staff for providing the lovely food and refreshments after the funeral.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgment as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude to all who supported us in any way.
Martin’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 27th May in the Sacred Heart Church Omagh at 7.30 pm.
