The recent loss of our much-loved Martin has left a profound void in the lives and hearts of all who knew and loved him. Martin was a devoted son, brother, and a loyal and fun-loving friend whose presence will be deeply missed by his community and his family circle.

We, his family and close friends, are heartbroken at the loss of Martin, but we are greatly consoled by the outpouring of support, loving care, and attention shown to us by all who crossed our paths during Martin’s illness, at his wake, and his funeral. We wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake at our home. Sincere thanks to everyone who assisted at the wake by bringing and serving food and tea, your kindness and support were truly appreciated.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Marie Curie Nurses and the District Nursing Team for their dedicated care of Martin. The time they spent with him and us brought great comfort to all.

Fraser for concelebrating the Mass. To Fr. Gormley, Fr. Arkinson, and Canon McGahan for visiting the family home during the wake to provide spiritual support and comforting prayer. Thank you also to Fr. Kevin McElhennon for visiting Martin at his home and for his assistance with funeral arrangements.

We also wish to express our gratitude to Reverend Quinn for visiting the family home to pray with Martin’s parents and for kindly offering the use of the Rectory car park during the wake.

To Emmet McGuire, Paul Goan, and Keith Mitchell for their assistance with shuttle buses and car parking through the wake and to Paul Lynch and Jody McDermott for providing buses.
