Martin, You were always there when we were all growing up, from Stella Maris to Abbeycentre as kids, it's hard to think of Arthur and Longlands without thinking of bumping into you around the streets with your best mate Dessi, my Neighbour, Work Colleage and lifelong Friend. There the two of you would be perched on Walls of Arthur Park or always with a huge smile, never without a welcoming word and bit of jovial banter.
Ghetto blasters with Erasure or Def Leppard blasting depending on who got their way! On Facebook over the years you were the first to suggest help in the local area and you were always raising money for Charities too. Theres not many people we can say dont have a bad bone in them yet you were someone who didn't, not one, you were all Heart and a True Gent, the very definition of a Gentleman. The Best of the Best, it was truly a pleasure for us to know you Marty, every single meeting you had you spread joy and light hearted chat. Much Love to you, until we meet again. Sympathies to your Family and dear Friends, the loss is a huge one. Rest well Marty.
